June 2027 Micro Wedding Experience

A Celebration of Love & Community at 1884 On The Bluff

In June of 2027, we’re opening a single weekend on the calendar for something a little different.

​

The 2027 Micro Wedding giveaway is an intimate, curated experience where three couples are invited to begin their marriage at 1884 On The Bluff in a simple, meaningful way.

​

Rather than offering traditional bookings, the venue fee is waived—creating space for love to be celebrated with intention.

​

This is a thoughtfully selected weekend for beginnings.

✨ The 2027 Weekend

​

June 11, 12, and 13, 2027

​

We will host:

• One Friday wedding

• One Saturday wedding

• One Sunday wedding

​

Three couples.

Three moments.

One beautiful stretch of time at 1884 On The Bluff.

✨ The Experience

​

These are abbreviated wedding experiences designed for simplicity, not full-day events.

​​

Each couple receives a 5-hour private window on the property.

​

Flow of the day:

• 1 hour for decorating and set-up

• 1.5 hours — access to the stone house for dressing / getting ready

• Up to 30 minutes — ceremony

• 1.5 hours — photos, cake, and toast-style celebration

• 30 minutes — light clean-up + departure

​

Guests are typically present for approximately 2 hours of the experience.

​

The flow is gently guided by the venue to ensure the day moves smoothly, begins on time, and remains relaxed without running long.

​

To preserve the atmosphere and flow of the property:

​

Up to 100 guests maximum with a preference for smaller, more intimate gatherings

​

✨ Who Is This For

​

This experience is open to all couples, and is best suited for those who: 

​

• Value a simple, meaningful start over a highly produced event

• Are comfortable with a guided timeline

• Appreciate the natural setting and flow of the property

• Are excited by the idea of something a little different

This is not intended for large-scale or highly customized and curated wedding days. It is designed for couples who are drawn to ease, intention and the experience itself.

✨ What Is Gifted

​

• Ceremony site at 1884 On The Bluff

• Ceremony seating

• Access to the stone house (1.5 hours prior)

• Time on the grounds for photos

• Use of the hoop barn and bank barn for weather backup and light reception activities

• Guest restroom access

• Guided flow of the experience by the venue

• The setting. The moment. The Bluff.

✨ What Couples Provide

​

Couples arrange their own:

​

• officiant

• photographer

• dessert or light refreshments (no full meal service)

• florals

• music (acoustic or small speaker)

​​

No early vendor arrivals or extended setup windows are permitted.

​

All activity must occur within the allotted 5-hour timeframe.

​​

✨ Required

​

• $250 refundable security deposit

 

Due upon acceptance to secure your date. 

​

Returned following the event and satisfactory property review

​​

• Event insurance (approx. $176)

 

Event insurance must be secured and submitted 90 days prior to your date.

 

Failure to provide will result in forfeiture of the date.

 

Event insurance guidelines will be provided to couples upon acceptance.

 

Couples may secure their own policy or use a link provided by the venue. Typical cost is approximately $176.

✨ Optional Add-Ons

Couples may enhance their experience with:

​

• Bar service (custom pricing)

• Additional time — $300/hour

• Select enhancements (as available)

 

All optional add-ons must be scheduled and approved with 1884 On The Bluff at least 90 days prior to the event and are subject to availability.​

✨ Important Notes

​​

To maintain a smooth and respectful experience for all:

​

• No vendor access outside allotted time

• All events must conclude within the 5-hour window

• Setup and cleanup must occur within scheduled time

• These celebrations will occur, rain or shine.

• Rain plan: ceremonies may move to the bank barn

• Guest count must be honored as agreed

• In rare cases, events may be affected by circumstances beyond our control, such as severe weather, natural disasters, or government restrictions.

This weekend is our way of offering 1884 On The Bluff in a meaningful way— creating space for a few couples to begin their marriage here, simply and intentionally. ​

​​​

Due to the nature of this event, individual tours are not offered for 2027 Micro Weddings at 1884 On The Bluff.

✨ The Application

​​​

Because this is a limited, curated experience, we kindly ask that couples apply with the understanding that not all applicants will be selected.

​​

Application Timeline

​

• Applications Open: March 22, 2026

• Application Deadline: June 15, 2026

• Couples Selected By: August 1, 2026

​​

After the application deadline, selected couples will be notified directly via email.

​​

A time will then be scheduled to visit the venue, review and sign a contract, secure the date with the $250 deposit, and discuss the above available options and preferences. 

​

Dates are not secured until the contract is signed and deposit is received.

​

Due to the limited nature of this event, only selected couples will be contacted.

 

If a selected couple does not respond within 72 hours, the opportunity may be extended to another applicant.

 

Dates and times will be assigned by 1884 On The Bluff.

 

Selected couples will be required to sign a standard event agreement.

 

1884 On The Bluff reserves the right to not award all dates if suitable applications are not received.
