Micro Weddings and Minimonies

In June of 2027, we're opening one weekend at 1884 On The Bluff for three micro weddings - one Friday, one Saturday, and one Sunday. For these three couples, the venue fee will be waived as part of a curated limited offering.

There’s been a quiet shift in weddings over the last few years.

Not toward less—but toward more intention.

Smaller guest lists.

More curated spaces.

A sharper focus on who’s actually in the room.

What used to be a backup plan has become, for many couples, the preferred way to begin.

Not an elopement.

Not a courthouse.

Not a 200-person production.

Something in between.

A Shift Toward Intention

At 1884 On The Bluff, we’ve seen it firsthand.

Couples choosing to gather their closest people.

To slow the day down.

To actually experience it.

And once you’ve seen that kind of wedding unfold, it’s hard to ignore.

What We're Opening in 2027

So we decided to try something a little different.

In June of 2027, we’re opening one weekend on the calendar for three weddings.

One Friday.

One Saturday.

One Sunday.

Each one with its own space, its own rhythm, its own beginning.

A Different Kind of Wedding Experience

This isn’t a traditional booking.

It’s a limited offering—designed for couples who are drawn to a more intimate, more focused experience.

Think:

  • a curated guest list

  • a shorter, intentional timeline

  • a setting that does most of the work for you

No excess.

No filler.

No drawn-out schedule for the sake of it.

Micro weddings—sometimes called “minimonies”—have stuck around for a reason.

They allow couples to:

  • prioritize the people who matter most

  • create a more connected atmosphere

  • and design a day that feels like their own, not a template

It’s not about doing less.

It’s about being more selective with what actually matters.

For this weekend, we’ll be selecting three couples to be married at 1884 On The Bluff.

The venue fee is waived, and the experience is intentionally structured—simple, thoughtful, and well-paced.

Everything else is up to you.

Who This Is For

If you’re drawn to the idea of a wedding that feels:

  • a little more personal

  • a little more relaxed

  • and a little less performative

we’d love to hear your story.

Applications are now open.
